Foldable Storage Boxes;
ISSHINDO FODLING BOX
designed by graphic designer Masahiro Koga and produced by ISSHINDO, a manufacturer of luxury gift boxes established in 1956 and based in Arita.
By simply lifting the sides, and with the help of integrated magnets these storage boxes with lids are easy to use. The container literally means “to contain” which the designer links to receptiveness.
The concept together with the integrity of the handwork, the origami-like minimal design and the color schemes expressing a mix of cultures reflect the spirit of Nagasaki.
